Instrumentalists

Having a musical background since high school, Tracie was struck by the sweet sound of the hammered dulcimer when she seen one for the very first time at an Ohio Festival in 1986.  It wasn't until 1991, after her daughter was born, that she finally was able to learn how to play one of these unique instruments.  She has been playing and performing ever since and has inspired others to continue on with this unique instrument by providing private lessons.

It's important to stay true to yourself and to your musical roots. See us perform live in our local areas.

Inspired by early roots by his family, DeWayne grew up on farming land in Milan, Ohio.  He learned the value of music from his mother, who played rag-time piano at the local USO spot.  He continued on with bluegrass banjo and learned how to use that picking style on the Auto Harp.  He most recently has picked up and is playing a 12 string guitar.

 DeWayne and Tracie joined together in 1998.  Each bringing a special persona to their instruments.  They have played many venue including the Sandusky State Theatre, Civil War Reenactments, movie productions and many more.  When they perform, they go by the name of Strings of Glory.

So why did we choose Strings of Glory?

There is something to say about being able to share our talents with everyone and that is because God has given us this gift - so simply, it means:
